Open the downloader as an app

This package is a sideload app, not a Play Store download. It opens TikTokDownload.io and can save MP4 and MP3 files with the phone’s download manager. You install the file yourself.

Download TikTokDownload.apk

  1. Download the APK on the Android phone, or copy it there from a computer.
  2. If the system asks, allow installs from the browser or file manager you used.
  3. Open the file and confirm the install. The name on the home screen is TikTokDownload.
  4. The first screen loads this website. Paste a TikTok link the same way you would in a browser.

Browser extension

On a desktop Chromium browser, a small extension is ready as a zip. It is not in a store. On a TikTok video tab, it opens TikTokDownload.io with that page’s link already filled in.

Download the extension zip

  1. Unzip the file on your computer.
  2. Open the browser’s extensions page and turn on developer mode.
  3. Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  4. While a TikTok video is the active tab, click the extension icon, then Open on TikTokDownload.io.
