No watermark

A clean MP4 only when the lookup has one

Short links from vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com are fine. A missing clean file stays missing.

What the button actually means

In the TikTok app, a clip often plays with a moving username on the picture. People search for a copy that does not carry that stamp. Here, “without watermark” is the name of one returned file, not a promise about every post. The lookup can hand back a standard play address, a separate HD address, a watermarked address, and a music address. Each one is optional. The page draws a button only for an address that is present, and it will not label one URL as two different files.

If the standard play address is empty, you will not see an MP4 without watermark. If the watermarked address is the same as the play address, you will not see a second button pretending they differ. If HD is the same file as the standard MP4, HD is hidden too. That is the whole rule. There is no extra pass that invents a cleaner render, and there is no 4K option hiding in the menu.

How to ask for the file

  1. Open a TikTok that anyone can watch. Private posts, friends-only posts, and deleted posts have nothing to fetch.
  2. Use Share and copy the link. A full tiktok.com address is fine. So is a short vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com link.
  3. Paste it in the box on this page and submit. A username alone belongs on the stories page, not here.
  4. Read the cover and caption, then save the buttons that actually appeared. Your browser downloads the CDN file, or a narrow proxy streams it if the browser blocks the direct save.

Photo posts are a different shape. When the lookup returns stills instead of a play file, this tool lists those images rather than a video. That case is explained on the photos page. Sound, when a separate audio URL exists, is the same lookup with the MP3 button brought forward on the MP3 page.

When the clean file is absent

An empty result is often the honest one. The post may be private, removed, or blocked in a region. The lookup may have returned only the watermarked file. A busy network can hit the rate limit and should be retried after a short wait. None of those outcomes means a clean copy is stored on this server. We do not keep the media. A short cache may remember the lookup so signed links can be reused before they expire.

Phone browsers add their own quirks. Safari on iPhone sometimes plays a file instead of saving it, which the iPhone guide covers. Android Chrome is covered separately, including the optional sideload app on the Android page. A desktop browser is usually the most direct path, described on the PC page.

Saving a file does not transfer the creator’s rights to you. If you are unsure whether you may keep or repost a clip, read is it legal and the terms before you publish it anywhere else.
